Our list of restaurants in Getaria includes some of the best places to enjoy Basque gastronomy, which we are sure will make your visit more enjoyable.

It is practically compulsory in the restaurants of Getaria to order any of its fish dishes or anything containing seafood because of its extraordinary and traditional cuisine, which includes grilled fish and seafood dishes.

We have a special preference for turbot, so if you like this fish, we advise you not to stop ordering it, as it is spectacular. We assure you that it will become another reason to visit this beautiful town.

Guetaria, in Basque and officially Getaria, is one of the most beautiful and most popular villages in the Basque Country. It receives a large number of travelers, especially in the high season.

That is why the restaurants in Getaria are usually full, and it is highly recommended to book in advance to ensure a table for lunch or dinner.

We also recommend trying the grilled fish of the town, provided your budget is within your range. In this case, the price depends on market prices, but turbot, for example, is usually between 50 and 55 euros per kilo, and pieces are usually 1 kilo and a little, and two people can share it. We understand that the price is high, but it is worth it.
